To be a Psychopath, that is the question? Pues no! Obvio!

I have been thinking about what makes a psychopath as of late. The reason being is that ever since I was a child it has always been very easy for me to become detached from my emotions. I remember that I hated crying ever as a child and I still am incapable of crying in front of another person. Emotions exhaust me, even now I hate feeling, and that includes all the range of emotions. There are days, where I am kick everyone out of my life, and just enjoy solitariness and the freedom that comes with that.

However, humans are capable of learning affection. I was able to learn how to be affectionate and to be kind. I did not deal well with children, until I was forced to babysit and raise other kids basically. I was a nine year old, who hated to interact with other children, when I found myself forced to take care of my four year old sister, while  my parents worked.I spent some much time babysitting my sister, that I gained what you call maternal instincts. I instinctively now can take care of children very well.

I find that I still have a problem connecting to other people. I understand adults, but I don't understand why they cannot move on. I listen very well, but I am very logical. My friends want someone who shows empathy, I don't empathize very well. They screwed up, so deal with the consequences and move on. Emotions never stay on my mind too long, if ever. My response is to kick them right out the door.

Nonetheless, most individuals are not like that. Take for example, compliments, most people at least in some aspect enjoy compliments. I don't take compliments very well, I just stare at people who compliment me. I find myself wondering, "What is the purpose of such a thing?" Comments can be faked and be lies.

On the other hand, I take critiques very well, I can constantly  be improving myself. Critiques can't be falsified or lied about, because there is always a semblance of truth in that critique, regardless of how harsh it is or if it isn't at all, it's something that can be improved upon. If psychopath validate them selves by attention of other persons, I validate myself on how I can be improved on. Regardless, its
still attention and a form of validation.
Well, of course that does not make me a psychopath, but emotional detachment is part of what makes a psychopath, so good at committing a atrocities. I highly doubt that I will ever be placed in a situation, where I will suddenly go on a killing spree. However, every person in the world has a breaking point, where a person can be capable of taking another life. I am certain, that I am actually capable of such of feat, and that I may vary well not regret such an action. That implies that I do have at least some aspect of psychopathic tenancies.

I was reading in an article that having psychopathic tendencies is common in most people, it because a problem, when it take over your psyche. "The Oxford research psychologist argues that psychopathic personality traits—charm, confidence, ruthlessness, coolness under pressure—can, in the right doses, be a good thing. Not all psychopaths are violent, he says, and some of them are just the sort of people society can count on in a crisis."

Everyone in the world has one or more of the qualities and that doesn't mean that everyone in the world is a psychopath. When I mean, psychopath, like mad serial killer manipulator. In the article the researcher refers to psychopaths at anyone with the above mentioned traits. I beg to differ, I think that everyone has psychopathic tendencies but what makes someone a psychopath is someone choosing to exceed the natural boundaries of life and choosing to take a life.

And really think about, we all lie and cheat at some point or another in our lives. The crossing boundary is when we choose to give in to some of our stronger traits. Someone can be ruthless like Donald Trump, but we don't call him a psychopath. Someone can be graceful and cool under pressure like Brad Pitt, but we don't call him a serial killer, (except in an Interview with a Vampire.)

I even went to the website on the article, "to further his psychopathic studies, Dutton is seeking participants for his Great American Psychopath Survey, which he says will reveal the most psychopathic states, cities and professions in the United States. Try it for yourself at wisdomofpsychopaths.com." My score is average on the borderline. Which goes to show that I may have some strong psychopathic tendencies, I am certainly no psychopath.

It's all right to psychopathic tendencies, it's not alright to be a psychopath. When ever people exercise one part of the psyche too much the results are never good. I love food, but I could easily end up a very obese women. I love to be alone and very easily could end up a hermit. The trick is to know who you are, but not let just one part of you dominate everything. That is the mistake that all human beings do at some point in there lives, however, that can be fixed. Unless of course you choose not too, then you may very well be on your path to being a psychopath.

Cats are women.

Women are like cats. I am sure that we have all heard this before; the jokes, because you bite, or because you have pussy (pardon my language). Or for any other reason a person can think of.
However, the truth that I have to come to realize is simply because we don't care, so much of what other people want of us, but what we want of them.

I love being alone, I like the silence and the peace that comes with that. Nonetheless, I love hugging my parents and my family in general, and generally sharing affection. The trick is that I only like doing any of those actions, when I want to do it, not when someone else imposes it on me. I certainly don't bite or scratch, but I do bear grudges and plot my revenge.

I just recently read an article researching whether cats are smart or not. They are incredibly smart, but the issue that the researchers found was that if the cat does not feel like cooperating, you cannot force that cat to do anything. "Cats don't care what you want, and they don't want your help."

Women want people (usually there object of affection), to listen to them. She wants a validation and if she doesn't receive that, the consequences may leave much to be desired. However, just like with a cat if the individual being asked for the comfort, does comply, they are rewarded for that action, just not in the way they may expect or want.

I am not saying that women are a cat, just that we share similarities. Humans are more complex in the emotional or psychical regard. (Let us not go into the whole evolution debate or humanity debate right now). The simple fact is that we are similar to lots of animals and why wouldn't we be after all. We are all alive and by default we all have emotions. Still, if I had to pick an animal that women are most similar to that would be a cat.
